TOO LONG!!!

It has been way too long since I last posted... I will give you a complete post with some pictures soon!! Hopefully tonight, if not tonight then tomorrow night for sure!

In a Week....

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, the past week and a half has been a busy one!!! My Mom was here for about 10 days, as always I don't feel like I spent as much time with her as I would there is just always so much to do. We did make a trip to see my Grandmother in New Hampshire. It was a nice visit but at the same time sad. Last October we lost my Papa and since then Grandma has had to move into assisted living and it has been very stressful and hard on her. It was nice to visit and spend some time with her. Work has been slowing down and for now that is nice since it has been crazy all summer long. For those who don't know I am the Reservations Manager for a Resort and Spa in the Catskills, in Upstate, New York. My job is busy and always interesting I get to talk to and meet a lot of new and different people!

On a side note as I am typing this the new Miley Cyrus song is on "Party in the USA" can I even tell you how much I LOVE this song!!!

OK, so a week from today I will be turning 29!! OH MY GOSH!! I can not believe it. I am where I want to be in my life, I could not be happier. But to be honest with you and I know I am not that old by any means but I didn't think I would ever be affected by a Birthday and just yesterday I was thinking about it and started to cry.... I think the reason is because this past year has been amazing and a whirl wind... so I am just overwhelmed with it. I have asked for a new cell phone for my Birthday, I want in the worse way the Envy 3 by Verizon. My Dear Dear Husband whom usually buys practical gifts doesn't think I need one. To be honest I don't but I certainly want one!!! So, I think I had him just about convinced this would be the perfect gift..... until.... I found out that since I am not eligible for and up grade until NEXT year, it will cost $300.00.... so I think my phone is a pipe dream for now! We will see I am doing all in my power to let him know how much I just NEED this. I will leave you with a picture of the phone of my dreams...............................

I Can't Wait!!

I am very excited this evening and if you are wondering why it is because My Mom is flying in tomorrow!!! Henry and I will be going to Albany airport to pick her up. After we pick her up we will take her out for dinner somewhere and then bring her to my Sister Amandas house. Amandas kids are soo excited Grandma Wendy is coming to visit. Especially Ethan, the youngest boy and one of the twins. My Mom had watched Amandas kids from the time the twins were 3 months untill they went to school!!! Thats along time and they sure do love their Grandma Wendy!!!

Please pray for My Sister In Law, Louise. My Mother in Law just called us to tell us she had a Heart Attack today and is now in a coma. She is the wife of my Husbands Big Brother Jimmy, and she is such a sweet sweet lady. Please pray for her.

Saturday in the Park.... or going to the Fair!!

I love Saturday Mornings! It is probably my most favorite time of the week. Mostly because it is one of the only morning my Husband and I get to sleep in together and then spend the day together. I work on Sundays and he has both Saturday and Sunday off. Today should be a great day, it is supposed to be absolutely beautiful outside and we plan on going to the Altamont Fair later this afternoon, its your traditional county fair and I have never been to this particular one so I am looking forward to it. I hope to bring my camera and get some photos to share on here.



I am also excited because my Mom called me from Tuscon Arizona this week and told me she is coming to visit the first week of September. My Mom moved to Tuscon about 2 years ago and I miss so much having her so close. She was here in June for my wedding so it is a real treat to be able to see her again! Glasses, NCIS and Candles.....

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It was a good one. On Saturday we got my new glasses which I LOVE!!! We did some shopping in WalMart. Got Season 2 of NCIS which we are both equally obsessed with! We came home and of course watched some NCIS. Then we went to a BBQ at our friends Ed and Tina. We had a really nice time and it was a wonderful day outside. Not too hot, not too humid it was right up my alley. On Sunday I had to go back to work. Henry drove me in as my friend Crystle had my truck. He was going to do some fishing in the Esopus Creek but it was tooo cold so he left around noon. Soon after that I went home myself. We did some grocery shopping and had a great pizza from a place in town.

Today was one of my days off. I woke up and was sent out on a mission given by me to myself. On our shopping trip in WalMart on Saturday I found a cute brown dress, that I brought for myself. I then realized I really needed to buy a pair of brown shoes to go with it as I do not have a pair. So, off to Kingston to look for a pair of shoes. Well I found shoes, a cute pair of flats that will go perfectly with the dress..... but I also found some good stuff at Yankee Candle. That store does it to me every time... just sucks me in..... well it was fun and I spent too much money but as I type my new tart burner and the Lavender Vanilla tart smell mighty nice!!!

Show Us Your Life - Wedding Reception

So, over at kellyskornerblog.com she is hosting a Show us your life - Wedding receptions and honeymoon. I just got married on June 19th of this year! We had a perfectly wonderful wedding! We did not go on a Honeymoon , but I do have some reception pictures to share. We got married and had the reception at a wonderful restarurant near our home. It is called The Bavarian Manor. I Loved everything about the place and our wedding it was certinly perfect for Henry and I.

Getting the hang of it

It has been a little bit since I posted my first entry. I need to get the hang of all this. I am so confused. I am not sure why and about what but I am! I want a pretty blog and I certainly want to begin to add pictures. But I have NO CLUE. I am sure once I figure it all out I will get the hang of it and will be doing it everyday!!!

Okay so lets see what I have been up too....... Well, for the most of this summer here in New York we have had nothing but RAIN. So the past few days have been very nice and summer like. On Monday Henry and I went fishing after we had dinner. It was the perfect evening for that. I was on one side of the pond and he was on the other. I kept feeling a little fishy biting on my line. I told Henry it was the BIG ONE! Well FINALLY he bit and stayed on tight. I wouldn't call him the big one but it was a cute one and fun! Today I have the day off from work so I am just going to get some much needed rest and relaxation. This weekend will be a nice one. Tomorrow we have to go and pick up my new glasses which I am very excited about and then later in the afternoon we are going to a BBQ at our good friends Tina and Ed's. I am sure it will be a great time and I will tell you all about it in my next post!!

WOW!! I thought I would try to add a picture and I DID IT!!! It was simple!!! The next thing I want to try to do it make a pretty layout...... wish me luck!!! By the way this is me and my husband just after we said I DO!!!!

New blogger!!!

This will officially be my first post. Since I love to read other people blogs I figured I should let them into my life a little as well. I have wanted to blog for a while but didn't thing I would be any good at it. So, I will give it a try and see what happens.

Today is actually a very special day for me. One year ago today I went on my first date with Henry who is now my husband! As you can tell it has been one wonderful and fantastic year! I do plan on sharing our entire story with you very soon. We are going out to dinner tonight and we are going to the restaurant that we went to on our first date. I am very excited, I cant believe it has been a year. Its been a great year and I cant wait for many many more.
