Fur Babies

I wanted to take some time to tell you about my fur babies. I am the very proud Mommy of a Kitty names Ruthie and a Beagle named Spike.

Ruthie is 12 years old and is my first baby. She is older so she keeps herself. She is an inside cat. I have has her since she was a kitten. She has always been the princess of the house and loves it that way. However when we got our beagle spike Her life changed. We got spike this past June she he was just 5 weeks old. He is a fun loving very energetic Beagle. Like most beagles are. I love him unconditionally. We names him Spike after Snoopys brother from the comic. Snoopys brother Spike lives in Needles California with cactus. Actually I can tell you that my kit Ruthie was also named after someone she was named after be adorable little girl Ruthie that was on the TV Show 7th Heaven. Right now Miss Ruthie is fighting off an injured paw. Her nails seem to be over growing into her paw causing bleeding. So she's got a bandage on. Here are a few pictures of both of them. I'm hoping one day they will learn to love each other cause right now they don't.

Christmas Tree!!!!

Well we did it. We got our tree up and decorated! For the past 3 years we have had a real tree about 5 foot in our living room. However with our 7 month old beagle puppy Spike we had to downsize. My generous mother in law gave us a artificial tree she didn't want anymore. It's small and perfect for our small house not to mention fits nicely in a corner of our kitchen to keep away from Spike. We decorated it mostly on Snoopy ornaments. We are huge snoopy fans!!

Relaxing Weekend

The weekend is slowly coming to an end.  Its Sunday afternoon and I am relaxing the day away.  Later on we will finish up our Christmas Tree decorating!  I love this time of year, so much fun and so pretty.  The way all the lights up on houses, the lights on the tree.  Its simple and beautiful.  Once our tree is complete I will show you it! I am excited to have it finished!

This week will be an easy one.  At least I hope.  I am going to work in the office tomorrow, and will e home Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Then on Friday back to the office.

Starting Over

So, I am officially going to start over with this blog.  My life has changed just a tad from when I started.  I have now been married for 3 1/2 years and still in love with my dear husband, even more so! We moved into a wonderful little cozy house.  We most recently got a puppy! He is incredibly adorable and his name is Spike.  I plan on talking about my life and all things I love! I will now leave you with pictures of Spike and My Kitty Ruthie!

TOO LONG!!!

It has been way too long since I last posted... I will give you a complete post with some pictures soon!! Hopefully tonight, if not tonight then tomorrow night for sure!

In a Week....

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, the past week and a half has been a busy one!!! My Mom was here for about 10 days, as always I don't feel like I spent as much time with her as I would there is just always so much to do. We did make a trip to see my Grandmother in New Hampshire. It was a nice visit but at the same time sad. Last October we lost my Papa and since then Grandma has had to move into assisted living and it has been very stressful and hard on her. It was nice to visit and spend some time with her. Work has been slowing down and for now that is nice since it has been crazy all summer long. For those who don't know I am the Reservations Manager for a Resort and Spa in the Catskills, in Upstate, New York. My job is busy and always interesting I get to talk to and meet a lot of new and different people!

On a side note as I am typing this the new Miley Cyrus song is on "Party in the USA" can I even tell you how much I LOVE this song!!!

OK, so a week from today I will be turning 29!! OH MY GOSH!! I can not believe it. I am where I want to be in my life, I could not be happier. But to be honest with you and I know I am not that old by any means but I didn't think I would ever be affected by a Birthday and just yesterday I was thinking about it and started to cry.... I think the reason is because this past year has been amazing and a whirl wind... so I am just overwhelmed with it. I have asked for a new cell phone for my Birthday, I want in the worse way the Envy 3 by Verizon. My Dear Dear Husband whom usually buys practical gifts doesn't think I need one. To be honest I don't but I certainly want one!!! So, I think I had him just about convinced this would be the perfect gift..... until.... I found out that since I am not eligible for and up grade until NEXT year, it will cost $300.00.... so I think my phone is a pipe dream for now! We will see I am doing all in my power to let him know how much I just NEED this. I will leave you with a picture of the phone of my dreams...............................
